Why we picked it
Best for: Anyone who just needs sustain to work, on any keyboard, without spending much.
A polarity switch and rubber non-slip pads on a pedal with nearly 30,000 ratings make it the safe default for any keyboard's sustain input.
What we like
- + Polarity switch works with either wiring convention out of the box
- + Rubber pads underneath grip hardwood and tile without sliding
- + Nearly 30,000 ratings at about $25 make it a low-risk default
- + 6 foot cable with standard 1/4 inch jack covers most setups
Watch outs
- - Switch only, no half-damper support for partial sustain
- - Lighter, plastic-heavy build compared to the Yamaha and Roland picks
- - 6 foot cable is short for stacked or elevated keyboard rigs
